About Alpha State Auto Repair

Our Story

Alpha State Auto Repair opened its doors in Northridge over 15 years ago with a simple idea: be the auto shop you'd actually want to bring your vehicle to. No high-pressure sales tactics, no unnecessary upsells, no confusing jargon designed to make you spend more. Just honest diagnostics, quality repairs, and fair prices.

Today, that same philosophy drives everything we do. We've grown from a small two-bay operation to a full-service auto repair facility serving thousands of San Fernando Valley drivers. But the owner still picks up the phone after hours, and every customer gets treated like a neighbor.

How We Work

Every visit starts with real diagnosis, not guessing. Our technicians carry common parts in stock so most repairs finish same-day. You'll see a flat-rate price before any work begins. If something is borderline, we'll tell you it's borderline and give you both options in writing so you can decide based on your budget and timeline.

What Services We Provide

We service all major vehicle brands — Ford, Chevy, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Subaru, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, and others. For maintenance and repair: brake service, transmission work, AC repair, suspension, engine diagnostics, oil changes, tire service, wheel alignment, radiator/cooling system repair, and complete vehicle inspections. If you're not sure who to call, you probably only need to call once.

Credentials & Standards

Alpha State Auto Repair carries full state automotive licensing, along with general liability and workers' compensation insurance. ASE certification is required for any technician who works on your vehicle. We're happy to provide proof of licensing and insurance before we ever touch your car.
